It was the night before Christmas...well it was actually 5 nights before Christmas when AAK
hosted its annual Christmas party at the Valle
Verde 1 Clubhouse.
Like previous AAK Christmas parties,
the celebration saw AAK students from the
different clubs and their families come together
under one roof to celebrate the Yuletide Season.
The party kicked off with games for both
kids and adults which kept every body excited
like the "ocho ocho" kiddy dance contest which
showed our kiddie karatekas' other extraordinary
talent as well as our daring teens in the "Fear
Factor" contest which was eventually won by Lexie Saldajeno of SM North EDSA. The family of senseis Camilla and Vincent Pante who hosted the said event coincidentally won the game "dugtungan
ng kanta ".
Special thanks to our indefatigable parent, Mr. Roger Velasquez, who provided the lively sound system for the party.
The AAK Christmas party would not be over without
the annual Christmas raffle and exchange of
gifts. Carrying on with the tradition of the annual
Christmas party, prizes were raffled off and
gifts were exchanged. This year's grand prize was won by
AAK St.Paul Pasig's Jeremy Fariñas going home with a
brand new color TV set donated by Mr. Hans Sy, Senior Vice President
of the SM Group of Companies. Mr. Sy has been so generously
donating the Grand Prize for our past years' parties.

A million thanks to the people who made this
possible, Pocholo Veguillas Shihan, Mr. and Mrs. Filo Pante,
the AAK blackbelts with special acknowledgement for the presence of
Senseis George Hizon, Archie Sanvictores and Keith Olivares (AAK-New Jersey). AAK
would also send its thanks to the parents and
their kids from all our AAK dojos and school
clubs like Body Basic-Asia Pacific College, Ateneo De
Manila University, La Salle Greenhills, De la
Salle Zobel School, St. Benedict College in Alabang,
St. Paul College Pasig, Jose Rizal University,
Dimen Fitness Gym formerly Body Heat in
Ever Goteso, Ortigas Extension,San Sebastian College,
Fitness First Makati, SM Megamall and SM North EDSA.

After the festivities, Sensei Chino led a pack
of party going karatekas to a game of guesstures
which eventually had to be taken outside because
the hall was to be cleared for a mass the next
day. This goes to say that AAK is not just an
organization but a big well-knit family as well. Merry Christmas And A Happy New Year To Everybody.
